Ankara: Over 125 people were killed and more that 400 others injured in Turkey and Syria after a massive earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale struck a wide area near the two countries’ border, according to authorities. The US Geological Survey said the tremor occurred at 4.17 a.m. at a depth of 17.9 km near the Turkish city of Gaziantep, reports the BBC reported. Centre Bans Over 200 Chinese Apps

New Delhi: Following constant complaints against Chinese loan and betting apps, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has started the process of banning 138 betting apps and 94 lending apps that had Chinese links, on the instructions of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). According to the information, the MeitY was recently instructed by the MHA to ban such apps, which operate through a third party link. Achievers News: At least three persons were reportedly injured in a bomb attack by two unidentified miscreants at a hotel following a quarrel with the hotel owner over payment issues in Bhubaneswar late on Sunday night.
