Odisha Witnessed 14.65% Rise In Crime In 2022

Bhubaneswar: Odisha witnessed about a 14.65 per cent rise in crime in 2022. According to a white paper released by the state Home Department on Monday, 1,78,190 criminal cases were registered in Odisha in 2022, including 1,379 murders and 3,184 rape cases. Of the 1,78,190 criminal cases, police have filed chargesheets in 1,18,547 cases. Bhubaneswar: Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) has received BIS certification to manufacture India’s First Fire Resistant Steel Structures at its Rail Mill & Special Profile Mill in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. The Hot Rolled Structural Steel, manufactured as per IS 15103, can be used for high-temperature or fire-prone areas and can withstand temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius for a maximum duration of 3 hours, said an official press release. Odisha CM Approves Master Plans For Development Of 3 Shakti Peeths Under 5T Initiative

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today approved the master plans for the development of three Shakti Peeths in Odisha. Maa Mangala temple at Kakatpur, Maa Ugratara temple in Bhusandpur and Maa Bhagabati temple in Banapur will be developed under 5T initiative, said an official press release issued by the Chief Minister’s office.
