Maintaining their winning streak, reigning champions Mumbai Indians (MI) outclassed Kolkata Knight Riders
(KKR) by eight wickets on Friday to reclaim the top spot on the Indian Premier League (IPL) points table.
While it was MI’s sixth win from eight games, KKR suffered their second consecutive and fourth defeat overall
in the ongoing season. Mumbai now have 12 points — the same as Delhi Capitals — from eight matches. But Mumbai
