According to an official release,this is the single largest investment approval by the HLCA during the period of current Industrial Policies Resolution (IPR-2015). Achievers News Bureau: (06/11):– The Airports Authority of India (AAI) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with NTPC’s subsidiary Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) to set up solar power plants at airports and promote the use of electric vehicles there. NVVN will be given land and rooftop space free of cost at AAI airports to install solar panels. AAI owns and manages more than 100 airports across the country.

Achievers News Bureau (31/10):- Twenty two people were killed in Turkey and Greece after a strong earthquake struck the Aegean Sea on Friday, bringing buildings crashing down and setting off tidal waves which slammed into coastal areas and islands. People ran onto streets in panic in the Turkish city of Izmir, witnesses said, after the quake struck with a magnitude of up to 7.0. Neighbourhoods were deluged with surging seawater which swept debris inland and left fish stranded as it receded.

Achievers News Bureau (28/10):- In a significant move, the Centre has notified the new Land Laws for Jammu & Kashmir. In a gazette notification, the union home ministry has notified this on Monday. It paved way for any Indian to buy land in the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu & Kashmir. The MHA notified what it calls UT of Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Adaptation of Central Laws) Third Order, 2020. The order comes into force with immediate effect.
